- Nowadays (Gen, PG, 1600 words): Sam, through the process of training himself for Stanford - and doing it backwards in S1. "Eventual ly, the constant reminder to remember his 'g's and pronounce the 'r's became a background hum and he moved on to other aspects. Keeping his head down, blending in. Still following the old man's creed, even now. Hunting Rule Number One: Don't Get Caught. Sam got caught out a lot in the early days."

- State of Love and Trust / As I Busted Down the Pretext (Sam/Dean, R, ~3000 words): Remix of dreamlittleyo& #039;s 'In Thee'. Heartrtbreakin g. "It' s always there. Under the damn, that's gonna need stitches and the can't forget to send the card applications out tomorrow, use your blinker, asshole and coffee needs more sugar, it's hitching onto everything, Sam, Sam, Sam, hot and guilty, making Dean's head and his dick throb. Because what Dean really wishes for -- what he wants, every minute of every day -- is laced with guilt all the way down. It's no-bad-wrong with a twist of nausea through his guts as much as it is please-Sam-ple ase, pulse hammering and fingers dancing over the buckle of his belt. Dean wants to find Dad. Dean wants to kill the demon. Dean wants Sam, and has from long before the moment Sam finally realizes it."
- In Thee (Sam/Dean, PG-13, 2,754 words): "Dean knows cities like everyone else knows people. Where the rest of the world measures their lives by the relationships in them, Dean doesn?t have all that many relationships to keep track of. Metropolitan U.S.A. he knows like a class reunion. There?s that one town that felt almost like home. He stays in touch, stops by once in awhile. The sad little barely-a-villa ge sitting ignored in the corner, and Dean always knew that one wasn?t going anywhere. There are a couple he?s grown to hate over the years, and he steers clear of them as best he can."

- Ad Astra Per Aspera (Sam/Dean, PG-13, 1066 words): They're in Kansas, and nothing good ever happens there. Quiet, slightly suffocating. "For a minute, Sam considers it?considers whether one stray spark could wipe Kansas off the map completely, leave nothing but charred remains inside a chalk line someone drew a hundred fifty years ago around a hundred thousand square miles of dirt. Burn it, like they burn all the things that haunt them. Dean?s face is twisted in the firelight, hateful and betrayed, and for a minute, Sam considers it. Let it burn, salt the earth and start again."
