Vitamin C Blunts Chemotherapy Effects in Mice: Vitamin C appears to blunt the effects of chemotherapy. Studies in tumor cells showed that chemotherapy drugs killed 30% to 70% fewer cells when the cells were treated with vitamin C. This means that care to be taken to avoid vitamin C supplementatio n while undergoing chemotherapy.
